1v1.LOL, the most popular Fortnite remake. It has been out since 2019 and since then it has grown to the to one of the most popular browser based games. With the long awaited release of Zone Wars being help back every update, and the release of unwanted game modes such as Zombies. Players have gotten furious with the developers. Because of those reasons, some players have decided to leave the game behind. That is normal with every game, players decide to leave because they don't like the direction the game is taking. However, to keep on growing you need new players to make up for them. If not, the players will continue to lose interest until the game is left behind for good.

Statistics

People can always give their opinion but they can't argue with data and statistics set on stone. Taking a look at three of the most trusted analytics websites (Google Trends, SimilarWeb, and SiteChecker) each show a decline of users to 1v1.lol staring around march of 2021. We predict this to be the effect of unwanted updates. The problem with the updates is that no one asked for them. By this we mean that they are releasing updates that the community is not asking them to release. In the 1v1.LOL Discord server, there is a channel for update suggestions. Before the Zombies update, not a single person mentioned zombies in that channel. The same goes to the kill effect and bullet updates. This has gotten people that have been pushing for the release of zone wars angry.

We also asked content creators about their opinion on the matter, the most common response was that the game would regain players with the release of an update.
